WHAT IS DETACHED WORK

Detached work is a street-based youth work provision, which operates outdoors. Youth workers walk around on foot in communities to engage with young people, provide support and offer positive activities. We also deliver outdoor community activities in chosen locations which involves youth work curriculum activities, arts & crafts and sports sessions. This service offers a proactive way of engaging with young people in their communities.
